Volleyball is the fastest-growing sport in the United States. It provides kids and families an opportunity to connect to the community and the school.  In fact, students of color make up more than half of high school volleyball players in Minnesota.  It is an easily accessible sport and requires less of a financial obligation compared with other sports like football or hockey. It does not require any specialized equipment other than a volleyball net and ball. 

Unfortunately, in Minnesota and despite well over 1,000 players and 60+ schools participating, volleyball is not yet a sanctioned sport. That means, for many schools, funding a program falls on the shoulders of the players, their families, and the local volleyball community. 

Your donation will go towards funding the Spring Lake Park Boys Volleyball program. It helps cover costs for things like jerseys, volleyballs, tournament fees, and insurance.
